Dr. Amanda Rook
PT, DPT, LMT
Dr. Amanda Rook is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in pelvic floor physical therapy and women’s health.
She was born and raised in Norman, OK, attending Norman North Highschool and graduating summa cum laude from Barnard College, Columbia University in New York. Subsequently, she earned a master’s degree in CRL specializing in Medical Humanities from the University of Oklahoma in 2013; and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in 2017. She studied massage therapy at the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, New York and owned her own massage therapy practice in Norman for nearly a decade before pursuing physical therapy to advance her practice.
Dr. Amanda graduated physical therapy school with outstanding distinction. In 2016, she was inducted into the Alpha Eta Society, the national scholastic honor society for the allied health professions. She also received the Jill Pitman Jones Scholarship for Academic Excellence from the University of Oklahoma College of Allied Health in 2017. In 2019, Amanda completed Manual Therapy Certification with Evidence in Motion.

Dr. Alexis Barnes
PT, DPT
Dr. Alexis Barnes enjoys getting to treat patients for pelvic health. She attended the University of Oklahoma for her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and has since taken all course work for pelvic health through the American Physical Therapy Association. She'll be taking the official board examination in Spring 2024 to receive her Board-Certification in Women's Health Physical Therapy from the American Physical Therapy Association; And has several years of pelvic specific treatments under her belt. She has a 7 month old daughter, a music loving husband, and a dog named Clark.
She loves treating dyspareunia, suprapubic pain and endometriosis, and return to exercise for active mommas. She has taken additional classes for DRA (Diastasis Rectus Abdominis), pregnancy and postpartum fitness through ICE (Institute of Clinical Excellence), dry needling, and pelvic girdle dysfunction.

Jessi Gaskins
Office Manager
Jessi is our office manager. She does a little bit of everything, but focuses on client scheduling. When not working for PCPT, she stays home with her 3 children and is homeschooling her oldest. She loves volunteering at her church, baking sourdough, and tending to her chickens. Jessi grew up in McKinney, Texas, but moved here for her husband to finish his PhD at the University of Oklahoma and they have been in the Norman area ever since! Jessi graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Family Studies Pre-OT from Texas Woman's University in 2016. She has a passion for all things birth related, including directing mamas to postpartum physical therapy care. Emma Ferguson
Communications Director
Emma Ferguson is the part-time Communications Director for Pelvic Care and a full-time mama to her wild and fun toddler. She lived in the OKC area while growing up, but moved onto a little acreage with her husband and is now a full-fledged country girl. She stays busy by reading lots of books, going on lots of walks with her family, and making fancy coffees at home.
Emma LOVES running Pelvic Care’s social media accounts and interacting with all of Pelvic Care’s sweet clients. She really enjoys tapping into her creative side when it comes to creating new content. She’s passionate about spreading the word about pelvic floor therapy to new and postpartum mamas.
